Musa Ille, the secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State has been killed.
Ille was reportedly shot dead in front of his residence in Tsafe town on Monday evening by suspected bandits terrorising the State.
The late Musa Ille was an astute grassroot politician who played pivotal role in the success of the party in the 2023 Election which produced Dauda Lawal as the state governor, TVC reports.
The incident is coming a few weeks after a PDP chieftain Shafiu Abubakar, alongside two others, were killed in Maradun Local government of the state.
The late Shafiu Abubakar was one of those aspiring for the Tsafe Local government chairmanship seat under the platform of the PDP
Tsafe local government area has recently become a hotbed of violent attacks and wanton killings by rampaging armed bandits in recent times.
However, the government says it is doing everything it can tackle the deepening security crisis in State to ensure peace returns to all hots pots.
