  • The Lead British International School in Abuja has shut down for three days in the early hours of Tuesday.
  • Another video has surfaced on social media depicting a separate case of bullying at the Lead British International School, posted on Tuesday.

Following viral videos showing bullying of students, the police command in FCT says it has deployed officers to the Lead British International School in Abuja.

SP Josephine Adeh, the spokesman of the command, said in a statement that the deployment was a proactive response to the alarm raised by some members of the public regarding videos circulating on social media showing the bullying of a student at the school.

The police spokesperson added that the Abuja command was on top of the situation.

“The FCT Police Command is on top of the situation and has deployed seasoned officers to the school premises for investigations and to forestall any possible breakdown of law and order,” Josephine added.
