Three police officers and one Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, personnel have been killed in Enugu State.

They were killed by gunmen terrorising the south east State in separate attacks on Saturday.

Two of the policemen met their end on Saturday night when the gunmen attacked a police division in Umabor Eha-Alumona.

The FRSC official and the third police officer were killed when the gunmen earlier on Saturday attacked HRH Igwe Patrick Eze, also known as, Igwe Waziri, at Orba in Udenu Local Area of the State.

Igwe Waziri is the traditional ruler of Egali Amalla Community in Udenu Local Area.

It’s gathered that Igwe Waziri escaped.

The Enugu State Police Command’s spokesperson, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, has not commented or issued a statement on the incident.
