Tinubu condoles with Sanwo-Olu over Chief of Staff, Soyannwo’s death

President Bola Tinubu has condoled the family of the late deputy chief of staff to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Gboyega Soyannwo, who passed away recently.

In a statement by Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesperson, Tinubu described the passing of Soyannwo as “deeply agonizing” and condoled with Governor Sanwo-Olu and his cabinet over the loss.

He noted the strong bond between the governor and the deceased, saying they shared an “unalloyed bond.”

“President Bola Tinubu extends his deepest condolences to the family of the late Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Mr. Gboyega Soyannwo.

“President Tinubu mourns Mr. Soyannwo, describing his passing as deeply agonizing.

“The President condoles with Governor Sanwo-Olu and his cabinet over this excruciating loss, noting the unalloyed bond both the Governor and the deceased shared.

“The President urges the family of the beloved Deputy Chief of Staff to take solace in his legacy and assures them of his prayers and support in this moment of grief.

“President Tinubu prays to God Almighty to grant repose to the soul of the departed”, the statement said.
