Governor Mohammed Bago of Niger State has granted freedom to 30 inmates from both the old and new Correctional Centres in Minna, the state capital.

The announcement was made by the Secretary to State Government, Abubakar Usman, who represented the governor during a visit to the correctional facilities.

Additionally, malaria drugs and food items were presented to the centres’ officials to alleviate the inmates’ economic hardships.
