They urged the government to hold security operatives accountable for their actions and implement measures to prevent such atrocities from recurring.

The PRP reaffirmed its support for peaceful protests as a means of promoting positive change and calls on citizens to exercise their fundamental rights to free speech and assembly.

They also demand an immediate investigation into the incident by relevant bodies, including the National Human Rights Commission and the Police Service Commission.

The PRP will continue to monitor the situation and hold those responsible accountable for their actions.
