Chelsea are in talks to sign Spanish forward Samu Omorodion from Atletico Madrid.
On Monday, the Spanish club agreed to pay £81.5 million to capture Manchester City attacker Julian Alvarez, and selling Omorodion will help raise funds for the Argentine transfer.
Personal terms have now been negotiated with Alvarez, who will join for an initial fee of £64.4 million, with a further £17.1 million in potential add-ons.
Omorodion, 20, joined Atletico last summer, just days after scoring against Madrid in his La Liga debut for Granada.
Atletico quickly loaned Omorodion to Alaves, where he scored eight goals in 35 games last season.
He is currently at the Olympics and has scored once as Spain advances to the final.
