  • Recall that the former governor was suspended on August 5th, over his alleged involvement anti-party activities.
  • He, however, dismissed reports of his suspension from the PDP on August 7th.

A chieftain of the PDP, Alhaji Shehu Tambaya, has expressed his support for Chief Samuel Ortom, calling him a respected party leader.

Tambaya dismissed Ortom’s suspension as ridiculous and attributed it to a lack of respect for leadership.

Tambaya praised Ortom as a leader with integrity, dedication, and vision, who has made significant contributions to the party.

He noted that Ortom’s impact has been felt nationally and has helped shape the party’s discourse.

Tambaya was dismayed by the suspension announcement on social media, seeing it as an attempt to undermine Ortom’s leadership.

He believed external forces were behind the move, trying to weaken the party.

Tambaya condemned the action as a sign of disrespect for leadership, emphasizing the need for trust and support during challenging times.

He argued that leadership requires vision, courage, and tough decision-making.

Tambaya stressed the importance of holding leaders accountable, but urged that it be done respectfully and constructively.

He advocated for a culture of respect and engagement, where leaders are supported and constructive criticism is encouraged.

Tambaya concluded by emphasizing the need for collective support and respect for leaders to achieve a prosperous and united future.

He urged the party to foster a positive environment, where leaders can guide the party through challenges.
