The NYSC has equipped over 3.5 million corps members with skills and knowledge, leading to numerous positive outcomes.

The scheme has also established partnerships with institutions to provide funding for corps members to start their own businesses.

Ahmed highlighted the success of the NYSC’s skill acquisition program, which has transformed many corps members into successful business owners.

He emphasized the importance of security awareness and caution among corps members.

The NYSC has gained international recognition, with Nigeria invited to share ideas at the 2024 International Youth Exchange Programme in India.

Tanzania has also expressed interest in replicating the NYSC model, with Nigeria offering support and guidance.
