Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has fulfilled a promise by donating an 18-seat coaster bus to the Association of Zamfara Retired Permanent Secretaries.

The presentation took place at the Government House in Gusau on Wednesday.

The donation was made in line with the governor’s commitment during the association’s annual conference last year, where he pledged to provide a bus to ease their transportation needs during activities.

In his remarks, Governor Lawal stated, “Alhamdulillah, I am fulfilling this promise today. I hope the vehicle will assist you in your daily activities. My administration will continue to support you, as you have served Zamfara State with dedication.”

Former Zamfara State Head of Service, Bello Karakkai, received the bus on behalf of the association, expressing deep gratitude to the governor. He noted, “This is the first time a governor has listened to us since the state’s creation.

We are exceedingly happy and will ensure to publicize this significant gesture.”
