He emphasised that he was the only candidate to have visited all 18 LGAs to canvass for votes, urging residents to participate in the election without fear or bias.

Aiyedatiwa also stated his willingness to concede defeat if the election is free from fraud.

“If the outcome doesn’t favor my party, and we don’t receive any reports of fraud, we’ll accept defeat,” he said.

“However, if we notice any irregularities, we’ll challenge the results at the tribunal.”

Aiyedatiwa commended security operatives for ensuring a peaceful election, stating that the process has been smooth across the state.

Meanwhile, Ajayi expressed doubts about the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ability to conduct a credible election.

The former deputy governor criticised INEC’s pace, calling it a “deliberate attempt to rig the polls.”

According to INEC, Ondo state has 2,053,061 registered voters, but only 1,757,205 PVCs were collected.
