A 65-year-old woman, Oladega Morenike, has died after allegedly being pushed by her neighbour, Abigel Bankole, during a fight in Ipokia, Nigeria.

According to the police, the incident occurred on Thursday at around 4:20 pm. The spokesperson for the State Police command, SP Omolola Odutola, said that the police received a complaint from the deceased’s son, Ibrahim Oladega, at around 6:20 pm.

The police report states that the fight between the two women escalated, resulting in the deceased being pushed and hitting her head against a wall. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Abigel Bankole is currently on the run, and the police are actively searching for her. The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Abeokuta for further investigation.

The police have appealed to anyone with information about the whereabouts of Abigel Bankole to come forward.
