- Governor emphasized the importance of ensuring the successful implementation of the “Building Your Future” agenda for the benefit of Katsina State’s citizens
Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has appointed AbdulKadir Mamman Nasir, a former Federal House of Representatives member, as his new Chief of Staff.
The announcement was made in a statement released on Thursday by Governor Radda’s Chief Press Secretary, Kaula Mohammed.
Before this appointment, Hon. Nasir served as the Managing Director of the Katsina State Irrigation Development Authority. He succeeds Jabiru Abdullahi Tsauri, who was recently appointed by President Bola Tinubu as the National Coordinator for the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD).
Hon. Nasir is expected to leverage his extensive administrative experience in both political and corporate roles to coordinate governmental operations and drive the governor’s vision for Katsina State.
To strengthen the administration’s “Building Your Future” agenda, Governor Radda also announced the following appointments:
Alhaji Malik Anas: Appointed as Commissioner (subject to State House of Assembly confirmation).
Alhaji Mustapha Bala Batsari: Special Adviser on Market Development.
Alhaji Nasiru Ahmed: Special Adviser on Rural and Social Development.
Hajiya Bilikisu Suleiman: Special Adviser on Banking and Finance.
Abubakar Ahmad Tsanni: Special Adviser on Youth Development.
Dr. Mustapha Shehu: Executive Secretary of the Katsina State Development Management Board (KSDMB).
Engr. Aminu Barau Mairuwa: Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on the newly established Community Development Programme (CDP).
Governor Radda urged the newly appointed officials to demonstrate dedication and commitment in their respective roles. He emphasized the importance of ensuring the successful implementation of the “Building Your Future” agenda for the benefit of Katsina State’s citizens.
