A bomb explosion in Niger State has claimed the life of one person and left four other persons injured.

The explosion happened in the Bassa community, Shiroro Local Government Area of the Middle Belt State.

Eyewitnesses say the explosion occurred on Thursday morning as the victims were on their way to their farms.

Ahmed Almustapha, a resident of the community, revealed that three of the victims lost their legs in the blast and are currently receiving treatment at the IBB Specialist Hospital.

Al-Mustapha, who is related to three of the victims, stated that this is the second bomb explosion to occur in Bassa this month
