Two persons have lost their lives in a fatal accident involving a small plane and a bus in Brazil.

Six people were also injured after the plane crashed into the bus on a busy Sao Paulo avenue in Brazil.

The victims of the mishap, which happened on Friday morning. were the pilot and co-pilot of the aircraft.

According to the fire department, four other persons sustained minor injuries and have since been taken to hospital for treatment.

A woman who was traveling on the bus and a biker were struck by a piece of equipment after the plane crashed on the Marques de Sao Vicente Avenue.

Reacting to the incident, Sao Paulo Governor Tarcisio de Freitas wrote on social media, “Unfortunately we started the day with this tragic plane crash.

“It is worth highlighting the quick action of the fire department, which extinguished the flames in just a few minutes and prevented this tragedy from being even greater.”

Just earlier this week, DAILY POST reported that a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, operated Japan Airlines, collided with a Delta Air Lines 737-800 at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, SEA.
