Kebbi Police Present ₦46.6m to Families of Fallen Officers

  • The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Administration, Aminu Babale, distributed the cheques on behalf of the Commissioner of Police

The Kebbi State Police Command has presented cheques worth ₦46,672,992.75 to the families of 23 deceased police officers.

The financial support, part of the Group Life Assurance, IGP Family Welfare, and Group Personal Accident Schemes, was handed over on Wednesday at the Kebbi police command headquarters.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Administration, Aminu Babale, distributed the cheques on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Bello Sani, and the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.

Addressing the beneficiaries, Babale urged them to use the funds wisely, saying, “I urge you to use the funds wisely to address your immediate needs and invest in your families’ future, particularly in education and financial stability.”

The event included prayers and tributes to the fallen officers, with Babale offering condolences and wishing for the eternal rest of their souls.

A beneficiary representative, Muhammad Sani, expressed gratitude to the IGP, CP Sani, and the Kebbi State Police Command for their support.
