Federico Valverde tested Di Gregorio with a long-range strike, and Trent Alexander-Arnold delivered a dangerous cross as Madrid pressed late in the half.
The momentum carried into the second period with Madrid creating more chances — Valverde went close again from a Bellingham assist.
Bellingham also forced another save from Di Gregorio with a powerful effort from outside the box.
Madrid kept pushing and Dean Huijsen’s fierce strike was parried away before the breakthrough came.
Alexander-Arnold delivered a cross from the right and Garcia rose to head home his third goal in four matches in the competition.
Juventus attempted to respond as Francisco Conceicao forced a low save from Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

Juventus kept hope alive as Nicolas Gonzalez sent a powerful shot inches wide of the post.
Real midfielder Arda Guler also had a late attempt saved by Di Gregorio, but Garcia’s lone strike was enough to seal the win.
