The governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, has said all his colleagues would support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

Sani made this known at the two-day interactive session on government-citizen engagement organised by the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation (SABMF) at Arewa House, Kaduna.

Sani stated that no president has supported governors in the country like Tinubu is doing, and for that reason, no governor will oppose his re-election.

“Moreover, no president in Nigeria’s history has supported governors and sub-national governments the way President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently doing,” he said.

“As a result, it is unlikely that any governor in Nigeria would go against the president.”

Sani also claimed the federal government is tackling the issue of insecurity as it is trying to engage non-state actors in the north.

“For the first time in Nigeria’s history, the government is engaging with non-state actors to discuss progress and assess the situation in northern Nigeria,” the governor added
