  • Suleman was stabbed while trying to protect his father during the midnight raid by machete-wielding attackers.
  • The assailants escaped after abducting the farmer, prompting a joint security manhunt across the region.

Suspected assailants have attacked the home of a farmer, Malam Isiya Abdullahi, in the outskirts of Doka Maijima’a village, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The gunmen abducted the farmer and killed his 25-year-old son, Suleman Isiya, during the early morning raid.

The attackers reportedly stormed the residence around 2am, wielding cutlasses and other dangerous weapons.

A source said Suleman was stabbed repeatedly while trying to shield his father from the attackers.
