An unnamed man has been killed for allegedly working for bandits in the Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State.

Security analyst Bakatsine, who confirmed the incident in a post on X on Wednesday morning, disclosed that the suspect was working for bandits as an Informant.
According to Bakatsine, he confessed to helping bandits plan and carry out attacks on Karfi, Tashar-Fulani, and the Layin Minister.
He said the suspect, who was found with charms and an incense pot when residents caught him, admitted to kidnapping a woman known as Hajiyar Buroni using a motorcycle.
Yesterday evening, residents caught and killed a bandit informer in Karfi, Malumfashi LGA, Katsina State. He confessed to coordinating attacks on Karfi, Tashar-Fulani, and the Layin Minister. He also admitted to kidnapping a woman known as Hajiyar Buroni, whom he transported on a motorcycle. He was found with charms and an incense pot,” Bakatsine wrote.
This incident happened just a few hours after bandits stormed Yar Santa in Safana Local Government Area, Katsina State.
