One Suugbomsumen Adamu has shot dead a member of a vigilante group simply identified as Yusuf in Jada Local Government Area.
It’s gathered that Adamu, who’s the stepson of Yusuf, killed him while they were testing gun charms.
The deceased reportedly put the Dane gun to his stomach and forced the 19-year-old suspect to shoot it.
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, confirmed the incident on Thursday. He assured that whoever is found wanting would be prosecuted.
Nguroje cautioned the general public to desist from using firearms and advised those bearing them to strictly abide by the rules and regulations for the safety of their lives and those of others
