Ruth, a young lady, was found dead on Sunday in Jos, the seat of the Plateau State.
The young girl’s body was discovered at a “car wash” after a gas station close to Farin Bridge I in the Jos Local Government Area.
The deceased is said to have been raped before being fatally stabbed, per a source.
The insider also said that before she was killed, there was a fight between her and her killers.
He explained that the girl’s corpse was dumped after being murdered in an unknown place.
He added security agents were deployed in the area to avoid an ethno-religious crisis brewing among the youths due to the incident.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Plateau State Command, Alabo Alfred, could not be reached to confirm the incident.
