Ajaero’s arrest: Tinubu will go after Atiku, Sowore, Peter Obi next – Adeyanju

  • The two incidents have been greeted by outrage from Nigeria’s with many saying the actions of the secret police negate the ideals of a democratic society.

Activist lawyer, Deji Adeyanju has lambasted the President Bola Tinubu-led government over the arrest of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, President, Joe Ajaero.

Adeyanju also decried invasion of the office of the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, SERAP, by the Department of State Services, DSS.

The two incidents have been greeted by outrage from Nigeria’s with many saying the actions of the secret police negate the ideals of a democratic society.

Reacting, Adeyanju said the next people to be arrested by the Tinubu-led government are leaders of opposition parties.

He disclosed that the government will come for former presidential candidates Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and Omoyele Sowore.

In a message made available to DAILY POST, Adeyanju said, “General Bola Ahmed Tinubu: Arrested 2,400 protesters; arrested NLC President; invaded SERAP office.

“Next will be to arrest Atiku, Obi and SOWORE and say they are planning coup. Abacha must be proud. Kudos General Bola, more please.”

Recall that operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS, had arrested Ajaero at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Monday.

Ajaero was picked up while on his way to the United Kingdom to attend the Trade Union Congress, TUC, of Britain.
