A LIB exclusive report earlier this year revealed that Funke Akindele and her Jenifa Diaries’ co-star Juliana were no longer in good terms, with the latter written out of the TV comic series. This was later confirmed by Juliana, after an initial denial to her fans, and she explained further in her autobiography released recently that she gained more fame than money from the series – which practically became her life.
Funke turned 40-year-old today and a surprise party was organized by her husband JJC Skillz at their Lekki mansion. Although Juliana was not in attendance like other production crew/family members and friends, as at the time of this report, she proved speculation wrong by celebrating her former boss via her Instagram page. She wrote;
I celebrate you ma’am @funkejenifaakindele you are beautiful, strong, hardworking, intelligent, interesting, funny, lively and you are ART in every shade.. Power woman, Super woman. I thank God for all He has done for you and through you and how much of a blessing you are to the world. God bless you now and always and make your Joy full.. Even though I can’t see you now I really do wish you a happy Birthday and many happy returns of your day.. With Long life and good health and sound mind He will satisfy You. I LOVE YOU, ALWAYS HAVE, ALWAYS WILL.. I can’t send my gift across to you today but I know that my prayers can reach you so I’ll do just that
