The connection between Tekno and the Danfo Drivers duo started when the singer sampled their song Polongo, on his most recent material, Jogodo. The duo called him out, accusing him of Intellectual property theft and threatening to deal with him.
In reaction to the threat, Tekno arranged for a reconciliation meeting with them. Moments from their meeting were captured in pictures and videos that were shared on social media. Apparently, it was start of the process that led to them collaborating on a new song. Tekno was quick to share a video showing scenes from the studio session, on his Instagram page.
