David Mark had through his campaign coordinator, James Oche, confirmed to newsmen that he would on September 4 (today), pick his presidential interest and nomination forms ahead of the 2019 presidential election, Daily Post reports.
Mark, also known as ‘Okpokpowulu K’Idoma’ is said to be eyeing the presidential seat on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, alongside his successor, Bukola Saraki, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Atiku Abubakar and others.
His intention, has, however stirred divergent reactions from some Nigerians as they wondered why Mark, who has been in power for years would want to rule Nigeria as President.
Some Nigerians were of the opinion that Mark’s intention will pose a threat to other PDP aspirants especially that of his successor, Saraki.
