A Nigerian lady has taken to Twitter to air her opinion on this issue. According to her, oral confession of love is not enough if it is not backed by finance.
She went on to advice ladies that if a man is providing for them and is only professing love by word of mouth, they should leave the relationship.

In her words: “Nigerian guys and only oral confession of love.They expect you to open ur body and soul to them with oral confession of love.When You dating a guy please don’t ask him for any.If he can’t think that you a girl n u need stuffs without you admitting, quietly leave the relationship he doesn’t love you.”

This is believed to be the mindset of most ladies which has contributed to the growing belief that women are materialistic.
