A Nigerian lady has taken to Twitter to reveal why she gave up on religion, after her aunt was sacked just days before Christmas.
Taking to the popular social media platform, the lady identified as @morewunmie wrote that her aunt was sacked from her work place, because of her religious sect.
According to her, her aunt, who was the headmistress of a school, belongs to the Apostolic faith, while the other staff worship at the Deeper life church, hence the difference in beliefs.
She said her aunt was judged because she wears earrings, deodorant and makeup.
She wrote,
“Issa thread!!! I’m tired of this whole facade called religion!!! A social gathering of hypocrites who don’t even process their own guilt again.
Religion!!!!!
Is the reason why we are where we are!!!
A particular religion with different sects.
Too much hypocrisy!!
Too many religious people who’re nothing close to being Godly.
I’m done.
Religion religion religion.
What happened to love we all precah about in our various religion. The way this our world poverty capital people carry religion on their head like “Olajumoke’s bread”.
Even the foreigners who brought the religion are in awe of our stupidity.
How can you allow your church members interfere in your personal business ??

One sect see themselves as Deputy Jesus, meanwhile looking at the other sect like Devil’s Advocate .

How can you sack your best staff (headmistress) because your church members are not comfortable with her. How!!!!!!!!??
A qualified teacher, with remarkable years of teaching experience. Who parents and students appreciate her effort
for setting high educational standards
