It seems like we are in the best relationship sometimes with everything appearing ok and under control but we are just blinded by the feelings we have for our partner.

1. Abuse:

Most people are in an abusive relationship without knowing it and this is because a lot of people believe a relationship is abusive only if there is physical abuse. Physical abuse is a type of abuse but there is also emotional abuse, sexual abuse, and verbal abuse and more but the above mentioned are the types of abuse that happen often in a relationship. If your partner calls you demeaning names during an argument then it is a verbal abuse and you should take note, if you are forced to have sex with your partner it is sexual abuse and if your partner looks down on you at every turn then that is an emotional abuse while physical abuse is when you get beaten by your partner. Any form of this abuse can mean you are in a Toxic relationship without knowing. Pay attention to them.

Most people are selfish by nature but when in a relationship we are meant to share with our partners the good, the bad and the ugly. Some people only share the ugly and the bad while keeping the good to themselves. Selfishness can be in different forms and not just material things. If your partner will not share his or her happiness or achievement with you but will share the bad news and setbacks then he or she is selfish with the good things. Everyone is busy doing one or two things at every point in time but when your partner is too busy to call, text and even spend time with you then you need to reevaluate your relationship because if s/he is not spending time with you then s/he is spending it with another person.

4. User:

Users in a relationship are the type of partners that only care about you when they need something from you. This set of people can go days without checking on you but best believe once they call you it is because they need something from you. Users in an intimate relationship can keep the conversation casual for days but once they need something from you then they start a fake deep conversation with you.

5. Unapologetic Cheaters:

These are set of people who don’t have self-control, they cheat on you frequently then when they get caught they tender an unremorseful apology then a few days later they are back at it. People like this might be very caring and loving but at the end of the day, they are not self-disciplined which is toxic for you. A relationship with an unapologetic cheater is chaos waiting to happen.
