According to him, his son, Beniah has many holes in his heart and needs about N15 million for a surgery. He said he has spent all his life savings on his child and needs assistance from well meaning Nigerians.

Immediately the news and the video went viral,  a lot of people have donated to the bank account given and over N75 million is reportedly donated.

One of the instagram handle, @kbkonline, that was used to spread the video confirmed the donations in a new post. Read what he wrote below.

We have hit the target and shattered it. (Over Seventy million) Special thanks to Baba God and every one who shared Beniah’s story. Every one who donated and everyone who couldn’t donate but wish the family well instead. God bless you all.
The phase 2 is Surgery per se. We will keep lil Berniah in our prayers.
The family sends their appreciation.
Thank you Nigeria.

Now I need you to help me repost this to everywhere just like you did 2 days ago. To thank everyone
To show them the strenght of unity and to let them know the campaign is officially over .
