Man stabs friend to death after El-Clasico match

A man has reportedly stabbed his friend to death after watching the el-Clasico match between Barcelona and stiff rival Real Madrid on Saturday. The incident happened at Yakassai quarters in Kano Municipal Local Government Area of the Kano State.

After the match, an argument ensued between Abdullahi Haruna and his friend, Mujitapha Musa, about the game. Details of the argument were not available as at the time of this report.

The El-Clasico match between Real Madrid and Barcelona ended 1-0 in favour of the latter on Saturday night. The police spokesperson in Kano, Abdullahi Haruna, told journalists that during the argument, the suspect stabbed his friend with a knife and another person on the knee.
