Operatives of EFCC, Port Harcourt’s Zonal Office, on Friday conducted a surveillance operation on Bureau De Change Operators, to track illicit currency transactions that may aid vote- buying in the build- up to Saturday’s Governorship Election in Rivers State.

Specifically, they visited Presidential Hotel junction along Aba Road, which is the hub of foreign exchange transactions in the State.

Many of the Operators took to their heels on sighting the presence of EFCC Operatives for fear of being arrested. The surveillance operations continues across the State.
