Lagos deputy governor-elect, Femi Hamzat loses father

Oba Olatunji Hamzat,the father of Deputy Governor-elect Femi Hamzat has died at the age of 87.

Until his death, the deceased was Olu of Afowowa Sogade in Ogun State. He was a member of the Lagos House of Assembly and Commissioner for Transportation from 1979-1983.

He died on Sunday afternoon from natural causes and old age.

Janazat prayers would be held on Monday, 13th May, 2019, by 8:30am, at his residence on Yahaya Abatan, Ogba, ikeja while burial takes place at Afowowa town after Ewekoro cement factory,along Abeokuta road, by 11am.
