One of Nigeria’s finest artiste, Jaywon has accused budding talent, Zlatan Ibile of intellectual theft.

Angry Jaywon went on social media to call out Zlatan for copying his song ‘This Year (Odun Yi)’ in his (Zlatan) new music titled ‘This Year’ as well.

Jaywon’s ‘This Year’ was released in 2013 while he was still signed to Kennis Music, the music was a hit and talk of the town during its reign, but the singer isn’t pleased with Zlatan’s version, claiming the ‘Zanku’ crooner stole his lyrics, title and video concept.

In Jaywon’s comment on social media, he called Zlatan dumb and threated to physically assault him if he dares talk to him whenever they see face-to-face. He wrote; “The same lines, video concept Lool not even talking about the title but no, dis dumb children on dis platform only follow trends but una papa. If you see me for road make you come talk to me. No be only slap you go chop you go chop belleful.

“If e pain you, I Dey my house make you come beat me but I don talk Wetin I talk. Who no know before don know and who no wan gree know OYO,” he added.

Recall, pop singer Danny Young also lambasted Tiwa Savage earlier this year for stealing the creative content he used in his 2009 song, ‘Oju Tiwon’, for her ‘One’ track.

Danny Young slammed Tiwa Savage with N200m infringement suit after he made sure YouTube dropped the video of ‘One’ from its platform, but it was later restored.

He posted a video on his Instagram page, showed similarities between the two songs, but he was criticized by Tiwa’s fans who accused him of seeking attention.

Danny Young said he was forced to take legal action against the songstress because he was snubbed after reaching out to her.
