PMAN writes a letter to the Nigerian High Commission demanding an investigation into rapper Ruggedman’s assault in London.
The Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, PMAN has sent a letter to the Nigerian High Commission demanding proper investigation into Nigerian rapper, Ruggedman ‘s assault by masked men in a restaurant in London.
This comes days after the video footage of the incident was shared by the rapper on his Instagram page.
The letter signed by the association president, Pretty Okafor, partly reads in part, ‘the case is currently with the Metropolitan police in London with reference number 3019340/19. We beseech to use your good office to ensure a thorough investigation is conducted to fish out the assailants and bring them to justice’.

The attack video was shared by Ruggedman himself via his Instagram page, stating it took place at the 808 restaurants. He wrote;
Being attacked by 4 misguided boys will not deter me from fighting for the youths, even though they blindly fight me. #shoutout #londonmetpolic @london_police_department for
prompt action. The restaurant owner was just asking if everyone had paid
Rapper Ruggedman’s assault was immediately linked to the Marlians as the incident happened on the same day as Naira Marley’s release from prison. Recall that the rapper had faced serious backlash as many speculated he was the reason the EFCC picked up the young artiste in the first place.
