Big Brother Naija housemate Mercy is in the news again. During the 4th BBNaija Saturday night party for the ‘Pepper Dem’ season which held on the 26th of July, Gedoni was seen making a video of drunk Diane with the ‘OPPO’ phone Big Brother usually gives them during their parties to take photos and videos.
On seeing this, Mercy got angry, snatched the phone from Gedoni’s hand and smashed it on the floor. Unfortunately, the phone got ruined. This led to a serious fight between infuriated Gedoni and Mercy.
Meanwhile, the fight didn’t just end in the house but it got out of the house, down to Twitter and we had Itel, a popular Asian company that produces phones shading the Oppo brand, another phone producing company.
Itel, on their Twitter page, wrote;
“Just one smash, Everything shattered!! can’t be an itel phone. The funds used to sponsor this show could have been used to produce quality devices for Nigerians. #OPPOxBBN”
After seeing this, Oppo decided to send BBNaija housemate, Mercy a message saying they had forgiven her. Though this came after a fan of Mercy, identified as Frances Ehinor Smarty tweeted and tagged Oppo and BBNaija saying, “#OPPOxBBN we are ready to buy all model of your brand.. Look into this issue and pardon our girl.”
In response to this, the OPPO brand said,
”All is forgiven. #OPPOxBBN”
