Multi-talented Nigerian songstress, Simi has jumped on the trending new music of Beyoncé featuring pop star Wizkid, SAINt JHN & Blue Ivy Carter, off Queen Bey star-studded album, ‘The Lion King: The Gift.’
The song titled ‘Brown Skin Girl’ is a standout track from the acclaimed album released by Beyoncé that was released on July 19, 2019. The song upon release, received warm welcome from fans and has since been getting positive reviews.
Simi obviously fell in love with the song that praises black women and she decided to jump on it for a beautiful cover. The singer has never disappointed her fans in all her songs and this cover of ‘Brown Skin Girl’ is also not an exception.
Simi’s cover was released alongside a cheerful video with colorful atmosphere and hyper attitude from the characters in the visuals. To make the song more receptive, Simi added her own verse and infused some Yoruba flavours.
