LaLiga: Hazard battles muscular injury ahead of Real Madrid, Celta Vigo encounter

Real Madrid have confirmed that forward, Eden Hazard has been diagnosed with a muscular injury ahead of their La Liga opener against Celta Vigo at the Balaios Stadium on Saturday.

Zinedine Zidane’s side made this known in a statement on the club’s official website on Friday.

The statement reads: “After the tests carried out after training today on our player Eden Hazard by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscular injury to the anterior part of his right thigh.

“His recovery will continue to be assessed.”

Real Madrid head to the game after losing to AS Roma in their last pre-season friendly on Sunday.

The kick-off for the match is 4pm Nigerian time.
