Operatives of the Kano Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 6 ‘Yahoo boys in Kano.
A statement on EFCC Facebook page on Thursday said they were picked up during a raise at No. 282 HC Hotoro North Quarters, Kano.
The raid followed intelligence gathering and surveillance on activities of occupants of the building.
“The suspects arrested are Bala Balarabe, Abdullahi Musa, Abdullahi Danladi, Bashir Kassim, Saleh Mustapha and Abubakar Ahmed”, EFCC revealed.
“In the course of the arrest, some of the items recovered include 11 mobile phones and a Mercedes C300 vehicle”.
The suspects will be arraigned in court after conclusion of investigation.
