Tambuwal cannot challenge APC guber candidate’s academic qualification, Court rules

The Sokoto Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has ruled that Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has no powers to challenge the academic qualifications of Alhaji Aliyu Sokoto, the candidate of the APC governorship candidate.

This disclosure was made at the preliminary judgement during the Sokoto Governorship Election Petition Tribunal session that is currently ongoing.

The ruling, however, is in favour of the APC candidate just as the Court has embarked on break.
