Photos of the Executive Governor of Borno State, Babagana Umara Zulum who flew economy class from Abuja to Maiduguri on Tuesday have surfaced on social media.

The photos were uploaded by one Engineer Ameh Osivue Shagari, a passenger who sat beside the governor.

A photo of the Governor walking towards his seat was also shared by another passenger identified as Abacha Nawaisu who was on the same flight with the Governor.

While narrating moments he shared with Borno State Governor, Osivue Shagari disclosed that he was surprised when the Governor bought economic class ticket as against my governor who is always on a chartered flight.

Shagari revealed how happy Borno State Governor, Babagana was when his candidate for the APC national secretary defeated his opponent.

Osivue Shagari wrote:

“Today I was in a flight with the governor of Borno state from Abuja to Maiduguri as a matter of fact we sat on the same row. I engaged him in a series of political happenings in Nigeria and Edo state. The first thing that caught my attention about the humble Governor was that he bought Economic class ticket as against my governor who is always on a chartered flight. He told me in was in to support Bulama who was contesting to be the APC national secretary who is from Borno state as against Mustapha was also also going for the same position from Yobe state. He told here and there that his candidate won and he was very happy about it. When we got to Maiduguri he asked to me to join him in his convoy to continue our discussion. I was not surprise when I saw Mustapha outburst against the National chairman because he went there as an Orphan without even support from his home base. His ranting was just the frustration he suffered.
