Elder statesman, Business mogul and founder of Kakanfo Inn and Conference Centre, Ibadan, Chief Lekan Are, is dead.
He died on Saturday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital. He died at the High Dependency Unit (HDU) of the University College Hospital, Ibadan.
Family sources said he passed away at 86.
Lekan Are hails from Oyo State, attended Government College Ibadan for his secondary School Education and one of the stakeholders of Government College, Ibadan Old boys Association (GCIOBA).
