Former vice-presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Peter Obi has denied reports of buying a N650 million mansion in Enugu.
A Twitter user had earlier claimed that the former Anambra state governor, purchased a mansion in the Coal City state.
Reacting to the report via Twitter, Peter Obi said he doesn’t need a house outside Anambra.
Obi added that he was committed to building hospitals and schools instead of buying himself a house.
He wrote:
“Contrary to the reports on social media, I didn’t buy any house in Enugu or elsewhere. I do not need a house outside of Anambra for now, and I am committed to living in my house in Onitsha,”
