President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the death of Emir of Kaura, Namoda, Alhaji Ahmad Muhammad Asha.
Buhari sent condolences to government and people of Zamfara State over passing of Asha, describing the monarch as a man of peace, who loved his community and the nation.
The President, in a statement by his Spokesman, Garba Shehu, commiserated with the family, Zamfara State Council of Chiefs and all associates of the late royal father, commending his contributions to the state as an accountant and auditor for many years.
The statement said that “President Buhari believes the virtues of honesty and generosity sowed by the late Emir will always be remembered.
He prays that “the almighty God will receive the soul of the departed, and comfort his family.”
WITHIN NIGERIA reported that Emir Asha died on Sunday in less than 24-hours after the Emir of Kano Dr Tafida Abubakar Ila II passed on Saturday, after a brief illness.
