Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has defended Big Brother Nigeria reality star winner, Mercy Eke after being tagged “local” by a vlogger Oluwa-Tosin Silverdam.
The vlogger had described Mercy as an “Mgbeke feeling funky” in a video where he mentioned 5 BBNaija stars he doesn’t like.
Reacting to the Vlogger’s video, Yul Edochie stated that “our brains need to be formatted as white men have messed with them”. He further stated that Mercy is not local, but a Nigerian or a Biafran.
He tweeted;
White people messed up our brains making us see our own ways as local. C. Ronaldo speaks English with a Portuguese accent, have you called him local? Many brains need to be formatted in this country. We no be Oyibo. Mercy Eke is not local, she is simply Nigerian or Biafran.

In other news, Mercy Eke has allegedly dumped her new lover Willie Xo. This comes after Mercy unfollowed the musician on IG.
Recall Mercy Eke was in a relationship with former BBNaija housemate Ike Onyema before the duo ended it shortly after the reality show.
