Sokoto State Commissioner for Land and Housing, Surajo Gatawa, is dead.
The deceased was among the 26 commissioners Governor Aminu Tambuwal appointed in November 2018.
He was Commissioner for Science and Technology, but was redeployed to the Ministry of Lands and Housing.
Though details surrounding his death still undisclosed.
This is the second time in three days that Tambuwal would lose someone close to him.

Sheikh Haruna died in his hometown of Tambuwal at the age of 96 on Thursday”.
Being a devout Muslim, he was buried according to Islamic rites.
He was survived by children, including the governor, as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Recall that Sokoto state government during the week also announced the death of second civilian governor of the state Dr Garba Nadama. He was aged of 82.
Nadama was said to have died of natural causes after a brief illness.
