BREAKING: Oyo Environment Commissioner, Ayoola Dies

Oyo Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Mr Kehinde Ayoola is dead.

Ayoola, a former Speaker of Oyo House of Assembly, was said to have been sick for about two weeks.

He was said to have driven himself to a hospital about two weeks ago where he was attended to and advised to have full rest at home.

He died at a private hospital around Iyaganku, Ibadan where he was receiving treatment.

The Oyo-born politician represented Oyo East state constituency between 1999 and 2003.

The cause of the death could not be ascertained as at the time of filling this report.

No official statement has been released by the government concerning the death.

In a related news, the mother of former Lagos State Commissioner for Home Affairs Dr AbdulHakeem AbdulLateef, Alhaja Risikat Balogun, is dead.

She died a few minutes ago at her Ogba, Lagos residence.

The late Alhaja Balogun was survived by seven children.

Dr Abdul Lateef, the immediate past Lagos State Amirul Hajj, announced the death of his mother on his Facebook page.
