Woman Forces 13-Year-Old Maid To Drink Hot Water For ‘Stealing’ In Kaduna

A woman identified as Mrs Florence Abel, a pharmacist has been arrested in Kaduna state for forcing a 13years old, Janet Ododo to drink hot water and later poured the hot water on her.

According to preliminary report, the incident occurred at about 8 pm on Monday.

Janet Ododo, the maid who was victimised told newsmen she had no option than to flee because her boss Florence had gone to boil more hot water to pour on her even after forcing her to drink hot water.

Janet while narrating her ordeal said she has lived with the woman for three years and that on that fateful day she decided to take the fish because her boss didn’t offer her, while adding that when her madam realised she had taken her fish she started victimising her. Janet accused her boss of maltreatment; forcing her to drink hot water and pouring hot water on her body.

Meanwhile, it was gathered that Madam Florence Abel has been arrested by security operatives following report from Human rights agency that has taken up the case for legal action.   While Janet Ododo is presently at the hospital receiving treatment.
