27 more workers of a company in Oyo state test positive for Coronavirus

Twenty-seven more members of staff of iSON Xperiences situated in the Ibadan South West Local Government Area in the state have tested positive for Coronavirus in the state.

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state has said that Twenty-seven more members of staff of iSON Xperiences located in the Ibadan South West Local government area in the state, have tested positive for COVID-19 in the state.

This was revealed by the Governor of Oyo state, Engr. Seyi Makinde.

This is coming days after 63 members of staff tested positive for the virus and are currently being isolated.

The governor in an update posted this morning Friday May 22 disclosed that twenty seven more employees of the customer service provider have now tested positive for the virus.

”The COVID-19 confirmation tests for twenty-eight suspected cases came back POSITIVE. Twenty-seven are from iSON Xperiences and the last case is from Akinyele Local Government Area. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is 190.

Let me reassure you, as Head of the Oyo State COVID-19 Task Force, that we are doing everything in our power to contain the spread of this disease, given the recent increase in numbers.”he tweeted

The state now has 190 confirmed cases of the viral disease.
