Lagos discharges 45 new COVID-19 patients

The lagos State Governor and the Incident Commander of Covid-19 in Lagos, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the discharge of 31 more patients.

This was disclosed in a tweet on the Lagos State Government official Twitter handle on Monday.

Today, 31 more patients were discharged from our Isolation Facilities, having recovered fully and tested negative to #COVID19, bringing the total number of discharged persons in Lagos to 1771.

“The patients, 13 from Agidingbi, eight from Onikan, eight from Gbagada, one from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba and one from LUTH Isolation Centres were discharged after full recovery from Covid-19”.

The Governor however urged members of the public to continue to adhere strictly to the principles of handwashing and physical distancing in order to achieve a COVID-19 free Lagos.

“This brings to 1771, the number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged from Lagos Isolation Centres.

“Let’s continue to adhere strictly to #PhysicalDistancing and #handhygiene principles #ForACOVID19FreeLagos,” the governor stated.
